The Feast of Firstfruits Music Playlist

The Feast of Firstfruits Music PlaylistThe Feast of Firstfruits is a time to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It’s a Biblical Feast of the Lord that was commanded to be observed in the Old Testament. However, it’s significance didn’t die with Jesus. Rather, the significance of this feast was magnified seven fold. Because Jesus became the firstfruits of the resurrection, on the very day of The Feast of Firstfruits. Coincidence? I think not. 🙂

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.” – 1 Corinthians 15:20-23

But you can read more about The Feast of Firstfruits and how it applies to Christians in this blog post over here.

For now I’d like to share a music playlist that I put together to listen to on The Feast of Firstfruits. Our family played this while we were hanging our promises of God bags on our Counting the Omer tree (post about that coming later this week). But it would be fun to play this all day long too.

What’s included in this playlist and why?

Mostly I’ve included music here that is pertaining to the resurrection of Jesus and music about God’s promises. There are some others that are wonderful for celebrating the salvation we now have through Jesus. But that’s mostly what I’ve included.

If you have any suggestions, please feel free to leave a comment and I’ll definitely consider adding them!

As for music providers I use Amazon Music because it’s included in our Prime subscription. All of the music below is available on Amazon Music and some of it even for free with your Amazon Prime subscription.

This playlist includes a mix of adult (but family friendly) songs as well as a few meant for kids (but that are just plain fun).

So without further adieu…
